The Imaginarium is our new, fun, hands on, creative thinking and literacy programme that fosters imagination, curiosity and resilience in children and young people. All activities are based around the fictional world of an enchanted museum and the artists who live and work there, and use fictional and real world cultural and inspirational objects and stories to provide opportunities for research, creative expression, evaluation and reflection.
Thanks to funding from Arts Council England, Lancashire County Council and Lytham Schools Foundation Trust, we've spent much of 2018 piloting a programme of Imaginarium inspired activities and events for two primary schools in Fylde and one primary school in Preston.
This summer, we'll be taking elements of this programme into three libraries in Lancashire - Ansdell, Kirkham and Fulwood. See our What's On page for full details.
